PART TIME
When a learner decides to follow the Part Time National course, he/she will attend classes at the Academy once a week for two full years until the three NQF Levels are successfully completed while the remainder of the week Students will be required to work in a registered salon to complete their practical workplace experience allowing them to qualify to complete their National Trade Test.
LEVEL 2
This Level enables learners to develop the skills required to become professional hairdressers. This is the first of three levels of which culminate in a professional hairdressing qualification. This level is designed to serve as an introduction to the hairdressing industry and provide the learner with the basics of hairdressing.
LEVEL 3
This level builds on the NQF Level 2, bringing learners another step closer to becoming professional hairdressers. This level, registered at NQF Level 3, focuses on core hairdressing activities.
LEVEL 4
This Level follows on the NQF Level 3, which focuses on advanced hairdressing techniques and skills required to operate as a stylist with confidence and knowledge in preparation for the National Trade test.
This course is Nationally Accredited by QCTO and adheres to the National Qualification Framework (NQF) as prescribed by The South African Qualification Authority (SAQA).
